Organisation and Board

The Sahlgrenska Academy Students’ Union represents all students and doctoral students at the Sahlgrenska Academy. All members can vote for their representatives for the union delegation, SAKS’s highest decision-making body.

The delegation appoints a Board, which is responsible for day-to-day work and coordinates the union’s operations. The delegation also appoints the Union Building Board, which is responsible for all aspects relating to Villa Medici.

Most of SAKS’s operations are carried out by the Education Councils, which monitors each of the study programmes, and the Committees that organises social activities to suit all tastes.
